A night of glamour filled with so much happiness and excitement, friends of Folake came around to support her show.
Top personalities were in attendance such as First Lady of Lagos state, Her Excellency Mrs. Abimbola Fashola, Abah Folawiyo, Opral Benson, Tara, Adesuwa Oyenekwe, Betty Irabor amongst others.
The audience were thrilled with performances by MTN Project Fame singer Praiz also followed by our own nija’s finest vocalist Tiwa Savage who dazzled the audience with her performances.
The fashion segment show cased a collection of different wooden fabrics and shiffon. The audience wow to the styles that were displayed.
The Schon Afrique was set up by Folake Majin Label stepped on to the young Fashion industry in Nigeria in 1988 with pieces that constantly caught on with women because they were created to be visually stunning and distinctive to details.
Folake started out with a view of creating custom made designs for her clients each one made to fit the clients personality and body shape.
As part of her contribution to the development of the industry, she has inspired and mentored several young designers who have come into their own success learning and gleaning from her vast experience in the industry.
Often referred to as ‘’The Designer to the First Ladies’’ Folake Majin has built a strong and loyal clientele such as television personalities, business women, senators housewives and beauty queens. For Folake Majin the end result to the creative process must be beautiful clothes.
