Remembering Pa Awolowo 25 years after

Pa Awolowo died 25 years ago but till date his legacy still lives on as the history of Nigeria will be incomplete without the mention of the first Premier of the Old western Region and will forever be remembered for his immense contribution in the development of Nigeria.

His memories came alive again as some Yoruba leaders gathered at our Saviour’s Anglican Church Ikenne in Ogun state which is the hometown of Pa Awolowo to reflect on his life and times.

Why won’t his legacy live on. We have not had a
leader like him since. Someone who thinks about the greatness of his race more
than his one pocket. He gave us first of everything. so naturally, people will
reflect on the good old days and those that made it good. Hopefully in another
50yrs or so someone like him will come again, if Nigeria has not been run to
    the ground.

So what good has this done to good governance in Nigeria especially in the South West?
