Junaid Mohammed,  a northern leader on Tuesday said the President Goodluck Jonathan’s  democracy speech did not impress him overwhelmingly as some issues were attacked from the angle of public relations leaving issues that are confronting and challenging to the country.

He said the speech was too lengthy and all that was time taking to say could have been said in the quarter of the total time taken and a lot of issues were jam-packed for public relations effect not because of the sincerety, articulation of the issues were vague in manner.

The Northern leader said on the whole, the speech looks like a preparation speech for the 2015 campaign so as to monopolise the political space ahead of the election.
