The Director General of the Nigerian Law School, Tahir Mamman on Tuesday said that two lawyers will be charged to court for attempting to write the bar finals examination for two re-sit students of the school.
Mr Mamman, who disclosed this at the call to bar ceremony for 1,116 new lawyers held at the International Conference Centre in Abuja, said the examination took place from 5th to 9th May, 2012 and that two recently qualified lawyers attempted to impersonate two re-sit students in the examinations.
He said: “they were caught and will soon be charged to court while the school is preparing to petition the disciplinary committee of the body of benchers for their debar.”
He said that such lawyers should not be allowed to associate with the legal profession.
