The chairman of the People’s Democrartic Party (PDP) Caretaker Committee in Ogun state, Mr Ireti Oniyide, has described the just concluded local council election as a sham.
The opposition party leader alleged that malpractices such as overnight voting and disqualification of PDP candidates were conducted to undermine the credibility of the election.
Voting is over in most part of the 20 local government area of the state to elect council chairmen and Councillors.
There was low turnout in most of the polling centres with the restriction of movement of people and vehicles except those on election or other essential duties during the polls.
