Moroccan winger Oussama Assaidi has been signed by Liverpool  from his Dutch club Heerenven.

Oussama, 24, signed a long-term deal after passing a medical at the club’s Melwood training ground today as he becomes the third signing for the club under the new manager Brendan Rodgers the first two players being Fabio Borini and Joe Allen respectively.

Oussama said he is very happy with his signing as he will be playing with a big club like Liverpool and he has always had a good feeling about the deal ever since he first spoke to the coach on the phone.

Although, Liverpool manager Rodgers admitted that it may take Assaidi a while to settle in but he believes if given time to settle in properly, the winger will be a success.
