It was a short, sad and solemn event as the late Cynthia Udoka Osokogu was finally laid to rest on Friday, in her father’s compound at Boji Boji Owa, Agbor, in Delta state, in a ceremony that was attended by only family members and a handful of friends.

A brief prayer was said by a catholic priest who later led the crowd to the graveside where she was laid to rest.

Cynthia Udoku Osokogu, a 24 year old young lady was murdered in a hotel in Lagos by some young men she met through the social media.

The burial which was scheduled to hold before now but was postponed due to the circumstances surrounding her death.

Well…. a sad end. Yet an undeserved death for the sake of friendship. But can anyone in his or her normal mind say young people must stop making friends? The same old story…… everybody must pass through a path that is destined for him or her in life; no matter how strange. LIFE IS A JOURNEY. RiP.

very sad loss. social websites are like the market place. all characters and beings abound; each peddling, trading, scheming or searching. the need for caution and Godly discernment can never be overemphasized.

RIP Sweet Angel, may God keep your family strong through the heartache of losing such a beautiful, young lady that made her family proud. I know I never had the honor of meeting you but from what I have read about you so far, you were a blessing to all who you touched with your kindness.
