The statement however maintained that “Our party believes that there was and still is need for change in Ondo State”.

Akande thanked the leadership of the party and general members of the state for their “brilliant performance” in spite of “many challenges glaring lapses in the system and institutional inefficiency in the conduct of Ondo state governorship election”.

He further said “Our party has always been and remains proud of our candidate, Mr. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) and this election has reinforced our confidence in his ability to lead and stimulate life back into the Action Congress of Nigeria in Ondo State”.

“Our party will continue this post mortem analysis of the lapses in all the institutions involved in the conduct of the Ondo election”.

Mr Olusegun Mimiko of the Labour Party had polled a total of 260, 199 votes. The PDP placed second with 155, 512 while ACN came third with 143, 512 votes in the just concluded Ondo state governorship elections.

This party ACN should learn the spirit of fair play by quickly congratulating Mimiko if they so wish that other parties would congratulate them when next they win.

I expect the ACN to follow the league of others by simply congratulating the winner,in the spirit of fair play and spotmanship, there is no institutional inefficiency,if there was none in Edo state where they won recently then same goes for Ondo state ,evey condition you gave were met this include transfer of the Ondo state commisssioner of Police ,please i advice you let go ,we should join hand to develop the Southwest and Nigeria as a whole.

Re deploy your mercenaries,  materials and machines of mass deception, men and money of monumental destruction  out of Ondo State
No room for your corrupt, vindictive and intolerable political propaganda, accept the  culture of defeat
Wake up to reality, ACN had been demystified

I think people can now see how stupid and useless the ACN  can become……..if the ACN  likes she can cry from here to the end of the world, nothing can be done for them to win the election in ondo state….all are tired of the ACN  so they must accept the result……
