The Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona has returned to Nigeria after a four month medical trip to the United Kingdom.

He arrived at about 4.30pm aboard a Bombadier Challenger VP CNA Airplane this afternoon. The plane landed at the chartered aircraft terminal area of the domestic wing of the Murtala Mohammed Airport in Ikeja.

Oba Sikiru Adetona who was accompanied on the trip by the former governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba descended from the plane to cheers from members of his family, his cabinet, supporters, friends and Ogun State government officials.

Two Notable faces in the crowd were the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu and business magnate, Otunba Subomi Balogun.

While answering questions from journalists, the Oba said apart from his leg he is hale and hearty. He thanked everyone who rallied round him for their care and encouragement which he says made his healing process very swift.

He also used the opportunity to assure his people that the forthcoming Ojude Oba Celebrations would indeed be grand as usual.
