A fatal motor accident after Umumba Junction along Enugu /Onitsha Expressway has claimed two lives leaving about seven persons with varying degrees of injuries.
The motor accident involving a Toyota Camry with registration number AL 578 AGU and a 504 station wagon with registration number AL 772 GGE allegedly occurred on Thursday at about 11:30AM leaving the two drivers dead on the spot while the injured seven persons were rushed to a nearby hospital at 9th mile corner, Ngwo in Enugu state, where one of the injured later gave up the ghost.
Meanwhile, the cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained as dead bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the hospital mortuary. Names and addresses of all the victims are not yet known.
