The House of Representatives Committee on Finance has revealed the discovery of more than N100 billion that has not been remitted by government agencies.
The Chairman of the Committee, Representative Abdulmumin Jibrin stated that more funds may be discovered as 15 government agencies which provide the largest internally generated revenue have been summoned by the committee.
The agencies include the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and the Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA).
