The Super Eagles will get dollar rain if they are able to conquer the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire when they clash for the quarterfinals of the Afcon 2013 on Sunday.

This is coming from the Nigeria Football Federation as it reiterated that it would splash on each player in the squad $15000 if they advance to the next round by beating the Ivorian side.

Already every player of the Super Eagles at the Afcon 2013 has already received $30 000 after the team defeated Ethiopia and qualified for the quarterfinals on Tuesday.

The Ivorian squad led by former Chelsea striker and two time African player of the year, Didier Drogba, are hoping to reach the finals of the Afcon 2013 after they secured their advancement to the quarterfinals before the last group game.

Financial boost is not just coming from the NFF alone as the team sponsor Guinness has promised to dole out $5000 and more for every goal scored in the tournament.

The NFF confirmed that for the semi-finals each player will get $20 000 and if they get into the final, which will be played February 10th, and come victorious, each player will have $30,000.
