Coach Stephen Keshi has released the list of the foreign based players to join the local based players in camp for the World Cup qualifier game against Kenya and surprisingly he omitted the name of ace defender Joseph Yobo from his list.
Explaining the reason why the player who needs 5 game appearances for the Super Eagles to get his 100th cap in an interview courtesy Super sport Keshi said he does not need the specifics of joseph Yobo against Kenya.
“I don’t need Yobo for this game (against Kenya). He is an excellent footballer like we all know but he is not needed for this game,”
Nigeria’s Super Eagles will be facing Kenya in for the 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifier in Calabar on March 23.
