In the wake of the Kenyan election, political analysts gathered to discuss the possible outcome of the election.

An independent consultant, Yemi Adamolekun, who traveled to observe the election observed that the election was not conducted without hitches as the e-voting failed along the line and the officials had to resort to manual counting.

She further said people remained on the queue for multiple hours while some could not stand the wait and had to return the next day.

Another observer of the election, Sadiq Musa, said the chairman of Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) talked about the officials not having the right training to man the machines that were put there for the election.

INEC Commissioner for Cross River State, Mike Igini, said the Kenyan people are trying to clear the memory of the tragedy that greeted the 2007-2008 election, where more than 1,200 were killed.
