The National President of National Association of Women Entrepreneurs, Mrs. Adaeza Ozongu has blamed the federal government of not recognizing the impact women have made in the growth of the country’s economy.

Ozongu says this is so due to the fact that most women have been missing in the “informal sector”. She also berated the inability of Nigerian women to access intervention funds meant for empowerement.

Ozongu was speaking during a programme on Channels Television, Dateline Abuja.

She urged the government to put in more efforts in trying to ensure that women have access to intervention funds.
