Ghana saw off the efforts of Iraq to finish third at FIFA U-20 World cup, winning 3-0 in what was ultimately a comfortable victory for the African side.
Joseph Attamah headed home Frank Acheampong’s corner kick from the near post into the back of the net as Ghana took the lead in the 35th minute.
Ebenezer Assifuah struck in the 45th minute to score his 6th goal of the tournament and claimed the Adidas golden boot.
Ghana made it 3-0 in the 78th minute when Acheampong was played the ball through and he finished in a style from close range when he hit the top inside roof of the net.
