About 40 Heads of State of Governments have arrived in Davos, Switzerland to attend the 44th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting which takes place on Wednesday – Saturday (January 22-25, 2014).

Channels Television’s Correspondent, Harriet Agbenyi reporting live from the venue, disclosed that over 2,500 participants drawn from politics, business and human rights amongst others, are expected at the meeting.

Among the delegates to be expected is President Goodluck Jonathan, Aliko Dangote, Chairman/CEO Channels Television, John Momoh, Vice-Chairman Channels Television, Sola Momoh, British Prime Minister, David Cameron, Australian Prime Minister, Tony Abbot, amongst other dignitaries and celebrities.

President Jonathan would lead efforts to attract beneficial projects for Nigeria from other world leaders.

She disclosed that business mogul, Aliko Dangote, will be co-chairing the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting with the theme “Reshaping of the World” and will focus on fundamental issues that are more productive.

Dangote, was said to have posted on his Twitter account earlier in the day that he was “looking forward to robust engaging discussions on youth employment initiatives, Africa rising and entrepreneurship.”

Security will be on standby and taken serious due to the dignitaries that will be there, she added.
