Speaking on Channels Television’s breakfast programme, Sunrise Daily, Mr. Fox noted that it is not only to produce these products but after which they will be well processed for exportation, “Nigeria has a great opportunity in agriculture that I respect”.

Mr. Fox stated that Mexico provides United States with 75% of what they consume in vegetables and fruits which involves billions of Dollars, Nigeria should imbibe such “if producers are supported by financing or modern equipment, then quality products will be provided”.

He suggested three ways in financing or granting credit facilities in businesses, foreign mortgage exports that brings a lot of money through these produce; private corporate world companies that will come and finance these produce and also inspect how it is being processed; the government should have a rural bank that is ready to release loans to people that want to produce at subsidized interest rates and also support them by educating these producers.

He advised that Nigeria should partner with other foreign investors to help business development especially in the area of agriculture.
