Former Minister of Defense, General Theophilus Danjuma, has joined the #BringBackOurGirls campaign, calling for the release of the abducted Chibok school girls.
General Danjuma called on Boko Haram to release the school girls and embrace dialogue offered by the federal government.
He made the call in Lafia, Nasarawa State capital when he was conferred with the traditional title of Barde Babba by the Emir of Lafia, Musterpha Agwai who marked his 40th anniversary as Emir.
The former Minister urged northern leaders to speak up and reach out to the sect in other to embrace dialogue, end bloodshed and kidnapping in the country.
The Governor of Nasarawa, Tanko Al-Makura and a representative from the Taraba state government also called on Nigerians to embrace national unity.
The Emir of Lafia urged politicians to emulate General Danjuma by impacting the nation positively.
