WelbeckDanny Welbeck became Arsenal’s fifth signing of a busy summer when he joined the club on transfer deadline day.

The talented forward had a photo shoot on Tuesday, where he wore his new colours for the first time.

Arsenal Football Club photographer was there and sent back exclusive images for arsenal.com.

Arsenal completed the deadline day swoop of Danny Welbeck from Manchester United for a fee believed to be around 16 million pounds.

After failing to break into the Manchester United side as a first-team regular, 23-year-old Welbeck heads to the Gunners having spent the last few years playing as a substitute.

He was often times deployed in the left wing and striker roles.

After initially struggling to meet Uefa’s home-grown quota, Arsenal now have no problem in meeting the regulation, which allows them to utilise the maximum squad limit in Europe.

Wenger would hope that the signing of Welbeck could help the Gunners finally push past their tendency to crash out of the Champions League in the early knockout stages, and go one further than their 2006 final appearance where they suffered an agonising 2-1 defeat to Barcelona.
