PDPThe Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has denied any involvement in the destruction of properties belonging to Edo State lawmakers at the legislative quarters on Saturday morning.

In a press briefing at the party’s secretariat, the chairman of the party in the state, Mr Dan Orbih, accused the governor of not caring about the earlier attack on honourable Razaq Momoh.

Mr Orbih further told reporters that he could not ascertain the current health status of honourable Razaq Momoh, who was in a coma after the attack on Tuesday at the legislative quarters in Benin City, the Edo State capital.

Mr Momoh, a PDP lawmaker in the State House of Assembly, represents Etsako-west Local Government Area, constituency 1, is being treated at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital.

The circumstances surrounding the incident appear vague.

Meanwhile, Governor Adams Oshiomhole has denied insinuation that he does not care about the health and well being of the hospitalised lawmaker.

Governor Oshiomhole who was addressing newsmen over the issue says the accusation by the PDP smacks of mischief and was also an attempt to present him to the public in bad light.
