The House of Representatives Committee on Finance says it will not support the scrapping of the Fiscal Responsibility Commission as is allegedly being contemplated by the executive arm of government.
The Committee, while on an oversight to the commission’s office in Abuja, said no nation can be taken seriously without an organization such as the Fiscal Responsibility Commission.
The Chairman of the Committee, Rep. Abdulmumin Jibrin said the House will do everything to ensure that the commission is scrapped nor merged with any other agency.
