JonathanPresident Goodluck Jonathan has assured residents of Kwara State that he would revamp the agricultural sector in the state.

This was in continuation of his campaign tour of the country.

The President thanked Kwara citizens for their support during the last election and called on them to repeat the same by ensuring the success of the PDP at the 2015 polls.

Agriculture, he stated, would be enhanced to create wealth for the youths, while also promising to ensure free expression among the citizens.

He noted that since the country is not a zoo or forest, people should be allowed to freely express themselves.

President Jonathan also enumerated the achievements of his government in the state which he said covered every sector. He promised to do more if re-elected.

President Jonathan, in his speech, also promised to make the Central Bank of Nigerian release funds for the SMEs in Kwara State to be able to create wealth for themselves.

He cited the example of YouWin and pleaded to Kwarans to work with his administration in order to receive more.

The Kwara State Coordinator of the Campaign Organisation, Mr Dele Belgore, also gave an assurance of the readiness of Kwarans to ensure the victory of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at all levels.

The Senate President, David Mark, in his remark, maintained an earlier stance that the party would not allow rigging. He also assured the party that the North Central zone would deliver en-block for the party.

The Director-General of the campaign organisation, Ahmadu Alli, challenged the people of the state to reciprocate the kind gesture of the President who has sited several laudable projects in the state.
