Captain Ihenacho has described the rumour as untrue and a cheap blackmail by opposition parties to discredit his growing popularity.

He made this known to Channels Television after his campaign team visited Nkwerre and Nwangele Local Government area of the state where he promised that if elected into office he would provide free and qualitative education for youths in the state.

Addressing the gathering in Igbo language, Captain Iheancaho, said the APGA remained the only party with Igbo interest and that the party would deliver free and qualitative education to youths as well as provide job opportunities to all graduates in the state.

He said that the rumour that he had stepped down for the PDP Governorship candidate in the state was untrue and a mere blackmail, insisting that the APGA was still very much in the race.

Having toured 24 out of the 27 Local Government Areas in the state, Captain Iheanacho has three more local governments to visit before the general elections.
