Potiskum blast13 persons including two suicide bombers were confirmed dead in the twin bomb attack in Jos with fourteen others injured following twin blasts that occurred along Bauchi Road in Jos, the Plateau State capital, in the north central region of Nigeria.

The blast occurred during a heavy down pour on Thursday evening at a motor park adjacent the University of Jos, was confirmed to Channels Television by the North Central Coordinator of NEMA, Abdulsalam Mohammed.

An eye witness told Channels Television that the incident occurred with about ten minutes interval, adding that wounded persons are being taken to the hospital.

Spokesman of the Special Task Force , Captain Iweha Ikedichi said a male and female suicide bombers carried out the attack at two different locations along Bauchi Road in the Plateau State capital.

The two incidents occurred near the university of Jos, while the first took place in front of the Bauchi Road Motor Park and affected some food vendors within the vicinity of the park, the other occurred about two hundred metres away at an illegal motor park adjacent the University of Jos.
