r Staff, Air Marshal Adesola Amosu, says that the military operations in the insurgency ravaged north east region has totally destabilized and destroyed the Boko Haram strong hold by damaging its command and control in the area.
Air Marshal Amosu made this submission when he appeared before the Senate Committee on Defence (Air Force) during the 2015 budget defence.
While commending the collaborative efforts of the neighbouring Chad, Cameroon, Benin Republic and Niger in the fight against the insurgents, the military bigwig says that the cooperation between Nigerian soldiers and those countries gave the nation’s security forces a boost because they (Chad, Cameroon, Benin Republic and Niger) had blocked the terrorists from escaping into their countries.
