apcAhead of next Saturday’s presidential election, supporters of the All Progressives Congress  (APC) in Kaduna State, on Tuesday, embarked on a road show to drum support for the party’s presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari and the state governorship flag bearer, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.

During the road show rally, the APC members expressed confidence that their party would be victorious in the coming elections and however vowed to occupy all over Nigeria if the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) attempts to rig the elections.

They described the party’s presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buahri and Mallam Nasir El-Rufai as credible candidates adding that they are the”choice of Nigerians in the elections given their incorruptible stance”.

The road show, tagged ‘Walking for Change’, witnessed a large crowd of APC members in Kaduna State and the party’s governorship candidate, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, trekking from the Command junction in the southern part of the State capital to Kawo, in the northern zone.

Women, children and youth all trooped in large numbers, singing and dancing.

Walking slowly and patiently, the surging crowd passed through the popular Ahmadu Bello Stadium to Ali Akilu road, where they appealed to residents of the areas to vote for APC in next Saturday’s election and subsequent ones on April 11.

For the supporters, their decision to participate in the over ten kilometers walk was borne out of their desire for a positive change, which they claimed APC stands for.

The supporters however, said that their power is their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC).
