The Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), says it is challenging the results of the Ogun East Senatorial Districts and that of the two Federal Constituencies in Ijebu North, Ijebu East, and Ogun Waterside.
The party further said the election was characterised by massive irregularities.
The position of the party was made known by the Deputy Director of the APC governorship campaign organisation, Mr Bisi Adegbuyi, on Monday, at a press briefing held at the party’s secretariat, located along the Abiola way in Abeokuta, the State capital.
Mr Adegbuyi said that, the election was not the reflection of the wishes of the people of the area, the party also alleged that the process was marred by inducement of voters, manipulation and falsification of results
The party has, however, asked its numerous members across the State to remain calm while the party seeks judicial process to address its complaints.
