The Plateau State’s All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of setting bobby traps for the incoming government by embarking on recruitment of workers and other policy decisions.
The PDP has, however, denied such accusations, describing the allegations as unfounded and baseless.
Addressing reporters on Wednesday in Jos, the State capital, the State’s APC Chairman, Mr Latep Dabang, warned that such decisions would have a negative impact on the party’s disposal to continuity, candour and principles in governance predicated on mutual understanding.
In a swift reaction to the massive recruitment exercise allegation, the Plateau State Head of Service, Mr Ezekiel Dalyop, denied such action, stressing that there are procedures in employment which the Civil Service Commission has not embarked on since inception.
