NEMA Donates Relief Materials To Ekiti Fire Victims

The victims of the Oba market fire disaster and attack in Ekiti state have been temporarily relocated to Sasa in Ekiti state for safety.

Following the huge loss of properties, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has commenced distributions of relief materials to the victims.

Speaking with Channels Television at the camp, the Zonal Co-ordinator of NEMA, confirmed that the victims had lost so much and called for urgent assistance not only from the federal government but also from corporate organizations.

The leader of the victims also used the opportunity to appeal to both parties to remain calm and give peace a chance.

Meanwhile the Oba market which was set on fire remains under lock and key, as security agencies are fully on grand to ensure peace in the market and the state in general.
