The Delta State Police Command has assured residents of the state, particularly those living in the oil city of Warri, that the command will not spare any effort in reducing all kinds of criminality to the barest minimum.
The Commissioner of Police, Alkali Baba Usman, said that the command patrol teams are located on the various parts of the highways to ensure that Warri and environs are safe for travelers.
While parading suspects who engaged in robbery, cultism and kidnapping in Warri, the Police Commissioner appealed to residents of Delta State to continue to cooperate with the Police by giving useful and timely information about any criminal activity.
He also used the opportunity to advise parents to monitor the activities of their children and wards, so as to check and curtail possible nefarious activities.
Among those paraded were four robbery and kidnappings suspects and 35 suspected cultists. Also, 11 cartridges and two vehicles were recovered from the suspects.
Some of the suspects paraded denied involvement in cult activities.
