In a bid to ensure that the Federal Government complies with the 2015 Budget and the Fiscal Responsibility Act, the House of Representatives has set up an Ad Hoc Committee to investigate the implementation of capital projects in the 2015 budget.
The motion passed unanimously despite heated debate on floor as some members spoke against the motion.
In another motion, the House also resolved to investigate the debt profile of all tiers of government and how these loans comply with the Fiscal Responsibility Act.
