Thousands of Malaysians are out on the streets of the Kuala Lumpur for a second day, asking Prime Minister Najib Razak to resign over a financial scandal.
Protesters had on Saturday, defied heavy presence of Police to line the streets of Malaysia.
They are angered by a $700 million payment made to Mr Najib’s bank account from unnamed foreign donors.
The Prime Minister has denied any wrongdoing, insisting that protesters were tarnishing Malaysia’s image.
Former Prime Minister, Mahathir Mohamad made a surprise appearance late on Saturday, telling the cheering protesters to “carry on”.
