The Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, has sworn-in 18 new Commissioners, 18 Special Advisers and five Senior Consultants to man government ministries and provide the much needed leadership for effective service delivery in the state.
At a ceremony held at the Cultural Centre, Kuto Abeokuta, the state’s capital on Thursday, the Governor charged the appointees to see their appointment as a call to service and not for personal aggrandizement
Governor Amosun also charged them to redouble their effort in the task of rebuilding the fortunes of the state.
He thanked residents of the state for their support and understanding for his administration’s policies and programme.
Four of the commissioners who served in the first term of the administration were reabsorbed into the new cabinet.
Speaking to reporters immediately after the swearing ceremony, they shared their thought and plans for the invigoration of the State Executive Council for maximum productivity.
