China LandslideSeveral days of rain in China have sparked a torrent of mud and rock, engulfing homes in Lidong village, Zhejiang province.

The landslide occurred on Friday night, leaving at least 25 people dead, and submerging almost 30 houses.

Parts of the village remain flooded, hindering rescue efforts. Reports said 12 people are still missing.

Local officials said one person had been rescued so far and he is in a stable condition.

Experts have been dispatched to determine if nearby areas could also be vulnerable to landslides.
