Jibrilla Proposes Information Sharing Between Adamawa And CameroonThe Adamawa State government has proposed an efficient system of sharing information between the seven states of Northern Cameroon that borders with the Nigerian state.

Governor Mohammed Jibrilla made the proposal on Tuesday at the fourth session of Nigeria-Cameroon Trans-border Committee Programme held in Abuja.

At the session, officials from Adamawa and Cameroon discussed issues bordering on security and cultural integration and how security could be managed between both countries.

Besides the event, the Governor’s spokesman, Mr Martins Dickson, also briefed reporters on the outcome of Governor Jibrilla’s recent visit to the nation’s capital to take part in the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Anchored Borrower Programme of the Federal Government flagged off by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Adamawa State is one of the three states with the potential of producing rice in commercial quantity.

Efforts by the State government to boost rice production have commenced with the sales of fertiliser and loans for dry season to farmers in the state.
