Tottenham Hotspur Coach, Mauricio Pochettino, has tasked his team to beat one of the best sides in Europe, Borussia Dortmund.

This according to the 44-year-old Argentine, is the price to pay if Tottenham want to make it to the quarter finals of the Europa League on Thursday night.

Pochettino admitted that it would be a tough game against the Germans but he is relishing the challenge, especially as his team are currently flying high in the English Premier League.

The Dortmund manager, Thomas Tuchel, however, expects a close game as his side meets Tottenham for the first time in the Europa league. The two teams are enjoying similar fortunes as they are both second in their leagues.

They are both also five points off the top, with relatively new managers with well-skilled and well-drilled players.

Dortmund have bounced back this season as the second strongest team in the Bundesliga after a disappointing 2014/15 season.

Tuchel said he was delighted with the way his players have responded to him after he took over from Jurgen Klopp.
