The Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun, says his state has achieved the five cardinal programmes set out by his administration which he promised during the beginning of his tenure.
He disclosed the achievements in the different sectors such as education, health, agriculture, urban housing scheme, infrastructural development.
Governor Amosun was the guest on a special edition of Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily live from Ogun State, where he spoke about the ongoing Ogun State Investment Forum.
He called on investors to come and invest in the state because the state holds a high advantage compared to other states.
He said that the state is blessed with arable land and good vegetation which he believes is an attraction for investment.
He noted that Ogun State has also become a leading state based on its investment in education.
According to the Governor, the state has over 600 secondary schools and over 1,000 primary schools that the government sustains, adding that there are more opportunities for the private sector to be part of the development.
The Governor also beckoned on all those living in the state and working in Lagos State to remit their taxes to Ogun State as this will further help the development of the state.
