A total of 50 billion Naira has been saved following the continuous audit process of federal workers across Nigeria.
The figure was given on Tuesday by the Director of Special Projects at the Ministry of Finance, Mr Mohammed Dikwa.
He said that over 43,000 ghost workers had been weeded out of the system.
Mr Dikwa further promised that the government would continue to work towards reducing wastage in the system.
