Truck Attack, Nice AttackFive suspects have appeared in a court in France, charged with terror offences in relation to the Nice truck attack.

The suspects have already been transferred from the custody of the French anti-terrorism unit SDAT to the Paris court where they could be charged, the source said.

The four men and one woman, aged between 22 and 40, are accused of helping driver, Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel, prepare the terror attack.

The tragic event happened when a large truck ploughed into crowds celebrating Bastille Day in the southern French city of Nice at about 11pm local time.

The driver was shot dead, with guns and grenades found inside the lorry.

The incident which happened on France’s National Day.

The Police named the suspect as 31-year-old Franco-Tunisian Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel, after his identity papers were found in the truck.
