According to Vice-Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel, everything possible should be done to limit access to such deadly weapons.

BBC says German Interior Minister, Thomas de Maiziere, has also revealed plans to review gun laws when he visited the scene of the shootings.

Vigils are taking place in Munich to mourn the victims of the attack at the city’s Olympia shopping centre.

18-year-old David Sonboly, fatally shot nine people on Friday, using a Glock pistol before killing himself.

Nine died in the attack while 27 persons were injured with 10 of them critically wounded.
