The former President, Olusegun Obasanjo has said accountability and prudence should be imbibed in surviving the current economic challenges.
He made this known while receiving, the Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, mg Williams Fowler and chairmen of States Internal Revenue Service at his Hilltop residence in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
While suggesting tax revenue as one of the ways to survive the current hard times, the former President however said government at all levels must be more productive to justify the taxes obtained from the general public in order to gain the confidence of the tax payers.
