The federal government has declared Monday, December 12, as public holiday to mark the Eid-el-Maulud celebration.
The Minister Of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, made this known on Thursday in Abuja.
The Minister told all Muslim faithful and Nigerians to support efforts being made by President Muhammadu Buhari to build a strong, united and peaceful nation.
He also asked Nigerians to use the occasion to pray for peace and sustainable national development.
