The Managing Director of TCN, Mr Abubakar Atiku, made the disclosure on Wednesday in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
Mr Atiku expressed hope that the completion of the projects would increase electricity generation from 6,500 megawatts to 7,400 megawatts by the end of the year.
He noted that the transmission sites in Afam, Daura, Ede Osogbo and some other power projects in Nigeria’s northern region would completed.
The TCN boss added that the completed projects would ensure steady gas and power supply to serve the nation’s growing energy needs.
