Negotiating guidelines for Brexit talks with United Kingdom have been unanimously agreed by European Union (EU) leaders meeting in Brussels.
The European Council President Donald Tusk, who chaired the talks said political mandate for the talks was ready.
The 27 leaders excluding the UK Prime Minister, Theresa May approved within a minute, the guidelines first issued on 31 march.
Talks with the UK will begin after the general election on June 8 while the deadline for completing the negotiations is March 9, 2019.
