Bring Back Our Girls Group (BBOG) Co-convener, Aisha Yesufu has expressed delight over the release of the 82 of the Chibok Girls.

She stated that the return of the girls has given her a huge sense of satisfaction which she can ever ask for, hoping that the 113 families will experience undiluted joy.

The BBOG Co-Convener stated this during an exclusive interview with Channels Television.

According to her, “Right now we have a total of 106 girls that have been brought back home and we still have 113 yet to return, it’s been two years of advocacy of the abduction of Chibok Girls, today, right now after the third year we have 106, this for me is huge and we are expecting that the rest will be back in no time.

“Just imagine 82 families are going to experience the undiluted joy that gives all the satisfaction I can ever ask for and we want the same for 113 more families to get that.”

Speaking further on the news of the return of the 82 Chibok girls, in her words, she said, “It just broke over the social media, we just saw it just reported, we were like wondering and of course at first, of all that apprehension and fear let this not turn around to be a false news, especially raising the hopes of the   parents and suddenly dashing it, we have had such experiences before.”

She, however, lamented that they are doing their best to bring back the rest of the abducted girls, adding that the Military has been able to degrade the terrorist.
