The Niger State Government has condoled with the management and staff of Channels Television over the passing away of its State House Correspondent, Chukwuma Onuekwusi, describing his death as saddening.
In a statement issued in Minna by the Commissioner for Information, Culture, and Tourism, Mr Jonathan Vatsa said he received the news of Chukwuma’s demise with shock and sadness.
“We, the government and people of Niger State, pray that his soul rests in perfect peace, and pray that God gives the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
“The late Chukwuma was cool headed and thorough in discharging his duty with utmost recognition for professionalism.
“He has left a vacuum that will always be missed. A perfect gentleman and great family man, may his gentle soul rest in peace,” he added.
