Manchester City could pay a record fee for a goalkeeper as they negotiate signing of Benfica’s Brazilian stopper Ederson Moraes.
According to reports, the 23-year-old visited Manchester on Monday, with the signing likely to take place on Tuesday.
City, who released Willy Caballero last Friday, are expected to pay about £33million for Ederson.
The fee would be an English Premier League record for a goalkeeper.
Pep Guardiola has been doing swift business since the end of the Premier League season last weekend, already announcing the signing of Bernardo Silva from Monaco and releasing a number of other players along with Caballero.
