The Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has assured the people of his commitment to run a continuous transparent and accountable government.

He made this known at the 2017 Democracy Day at the Micheal Okpara Square Enugu where he also celebrated two years of peace and good governance of his government.

“On our part, we wish to reassure you that we will continue to run an open and accountable government. We will continue to consult you every step of the way.

“Most importantly, we will continue to work with you to ensure that we realise the dreams of our forefathers to build a peaceful and prosperous state driven by the true spirit of brotherhood.” He said.

The governor also recounted what his administration has been able to do in two years of service in different sectors of governance ranging from security, infrastructure development, workers welfare, health sector, agricultural sector among others.

He, however, committed to fulfilling his campaign promises for the common good of the people.
