Africa fashion designers and fashion entrepreneurs showed off new collections at the 2017 edition of the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria.
Africa Fashion Week Nigeria focuses on empowerment, creating jobs and supporting education and skills training in fashion by providing a platform for the promotion of Nigerian brands.
This year, it once again created an avenue for fashion enthusiasts across Africa, models, designers, merchants, journalists and fun seekers.
Brands that displayed their collections are refined unisex brand Simply Sleek which collaborated with leather brand Maliko for eye-catching accessories such as bags, sandals, wristbands and Da Viva, among others.
The event featured over 50 designers and exhibitors selected from various parts of Nigeria and the rest of Africa.
They include Modella, Kola Kuddus, Maufechi, Regalia, Zizi Cardow, Marobuk, Tash by Tasha, Linda Ngwi (Cameroun), Sally Bawa, Alex Akande (Cameroon), Afrikawala (Zambia), Del Africa (Jos), and Eve Design (Senegal) and many more.
Nigerian television host and awards winning TV Personality Denrele Edun was also present at the event.
The eye-popping Africa Fashion week was held at the National Art Theatre, Surulere, Lagos.
